Whilst we’re champions of digital and all things online, we’re still big fans of integrating marketing with other areas such as print and advertising. That’s why we were interested in this infographic from our friends at Imprimus, who offer a range of customer communication solutions and have been highlighting the gains that can still be made from direct mail campaigns.

Do you have a dedicated area for mail in your home? According to stats collated by Imprimus, 51% will be found in the kitchen, 31% displayed in the living room and 18% kept in the hallway.


  • Bills and statements are displayed on average for 45 days
  • Advertising mail remains in the home for an average of 17 days
  • Door drops remain in the home for an average of 38 days
  • 35% of promotional mail is passed to others in shared households
