The process we use to make sure your new website delivers for your business

If you’ve never had a website before or you’re looking to get a new one you’ll probably want to know what’s involved in the process.  We’ve put together a quick outline of how we work in order to give you an idea of the key stages of your project with us.

Project Kickoff Meeting

The first thing we do is meet with you.  You’ll find that we ask a lot of questions but that’s because we want to make sure your website is spot on for you.  In order to do that we want to know what it is you’re looking to achieve, who you’re targeting, what it is your site is going to be offering and much much more.

If you already have a website we’ll look through the analytics to make sure your new site is building on what was working and improving on what wasn’t.

We want to take you to a new level and this is where we start.

Production of Visuals

Having gained a thorough understanding of what it is you’re looking to achieve the next thing for us to go away and do is design some visuals for you.

This will give you an idea of the look and feel of the site; what it is you’re going to be getting once we begin building it.

We’ll make sure that we have the key pages covered off for you and that will always include a home page visual and a couple other pages of importance, for example services pages or portfolio pages.

If there’s a specific page you’d like a visual for we’ll make sure we deliver it for you.

Visuals tend to be completed within a week of the start of the project.

Client Feedback on Visuals

We want to know what you think of the visuals to make sure that everyone is happy and that we’re travelling in the right direction.

We’ve actually never had a client that not happy with our visuals and we put that down to meeting with the client at the start of the project.  Before we do the visuals we know what you like, what you don’t like and how we can make that work for you.

Build Phase

And so it begins! We start building your new website.  Within a day or two of the build phase we give you a login so you can see your project developing.

You’ll be the only person that can see the project in build phase and what we feel this does is gives you an idea of the progress being made and an opportunity to feedback as and when you want to.

Adding content

We think it saves you time not having to go in and add all of the content yourself so we do this for you free of charge.  Of course, if you wanted to add it yourself we’re happy for you to do so.

Every client is different in how they like to work.  We know that so we’ll work with you in the way you want to do things.

Training on Content Management System

Getting pretty close to the exciting bit now.  It’s time to show you how to manage your site, add new content, blog posts, change pages or even add new ones.

Big thing to say here is that the system we use is WordPress and it’s incredibly easy to use.  Even if you’re not a technical wizard we think it’ll only take you an hour or two with our training to get up and running with it.

Final Testing and Launch

It’s the bit you’ve been waiting for! We launch the site for you and it’s out there for everybody to see! We’ll tweet a lot about it as well as sending it round to 4,500 businesses in our monthly e-newsletter to give you a nice little promotional push!
